Also angelfish are fine with discus as long as you don't get a pair

I'm making damn sure the tank is sorted out before I bring the discus home. They are why I'm choosing to forgo co2 injection and stick to excel dosing, too many stories of shit going wrong and gassing fish

I respectfully disagree w/ the Angels being OK to be kept w/ Discus statement. They are more aggressive @ feeding time & will out-compete Discus for food. Usually when you see Discus kept w/ Angels their(Discus) vertical bars are showing/prominent, which is an indicator of stress. I know people do it, just not recommended. Most breeders of Discus will agrre w/ this one. No offense, BK, just experience.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL MISERABLY.
