The fast growth of young Oscars can make the LL more apparent at these stages so what I see is of no immediate concern. If ph is 7 we really need to know what the water hardness is when you can. High nitrates temporarily typically is not a problem. Long term you want to maintain them below 20ppm. Keep up the good work
